The acting career of Raisa began in junior high, when she began modeling and appearing in commercials. The actress was also the guest on American Family: Journey of Dreams, and Over There. Raisa played Tamy in Lil' Romao's 2004 song video "My Girlfriend". She also appeared in the role of Iyaz for the song video for "So big". About a month into her final year of high school, she booked one of her first leading roles with Hayden Pnettiere in Bring It On: All or Nothing. Alexandra Delgado co-starred with Isabel in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules. She also made an appearance in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice. From July 2008 until the conclusion of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager from June 2013 she was the lead character Adrian Lee. In 2009, Raisa appeared as a guest star on USA Network's In Plain Sight. She also co-starred with David Henrie in Boo, a short movie that was shown on YouTube. Raisa made an appearance in Christmas Bounty, a movie themed around Christmas. The film featured her alongside Mike "The Miz", Mizanin. Raisa as of August, 2012. Between 2018 and 2022, Raisa appeared on the Freeform series Grown-ish. Executive produced by Blackish creator Kenya Barris. The actress was on the show for just four seasons, but she walked away from her role after the conclusion of season 4. In 2018, she starred as Tyra in the Freeform television movie Life-Size 2. She was also a part of the spin-off How I Met Your Mother series How I Met Your Father was made public by Hulu on the 18th of January 2022. In February 2022, the show was renewed to a 20-episode series.
