Madison Elle Beer from Long Island, New York was an early fan of music. She started making videos in 2012 of herself singing songs that are popular. Within a few months, pop star Justin Bieber came across her rendition of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with his more than 25 million Twitter followers. The publicity led to the signing of a record deal at Island Records, and then an agreement for management with Bieber's manager. In the year that followed, Beer was also cast as a supporting character in the film Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its debut in the festival's film festival late in 2013. Her first single with the pop-punk melismatic track "Melodies," also saw its release later in the year.Beer's vocals were first heard on the tracks of other artists, including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and 2015's club track "I Willn't Let You walk away" by Mako. She eventually issued her solo debut album, As She Pleases, in the year 2018. The track "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, and the EP climbed to the top part of the Billboard 200. Beer dropped the track "Hurts Like Hell" with Offset in the same year.
